Im looking to buy a 42-46″ inch lcd Hdtv with 1080p with a very fast response time that will not lag or delay during fast action sequences as the tv will be used for gaming, movies and function as a pc monitor as well. As i have a Samsung 32″ LN-T3242H with a 8ms refresh time and it has this problem and my xbox 360 and ps3 are basically unplayable. Try playing a good game of Call of Duty 4 or Gears Of War online with a tv with this problem. After a few minutes I get fustrated and turn the **** off. Im looking for a good tv with a fast response time 6ms or faster i guess that will not have this problem. Im thinking about the Sony Bravia Xbr Series with the 120hz motion flow technology as i hear they are the best, have an excellent picture and eliminate lag is this true. But they Xbr’s are expensive 3,000 easily just for a 46″. Im not sure i want to pay that much for just a 46″ Any Suggestions or any other recommendations of other tvs would be appreciated. Nothing Vizio lol thanks.

The best thing i can say right now is to check out the CES 2008, there are new TVs coming out this year that will surpass what is out now in terms of picture quality, color, some will be wireless meaning you just hang TV on wall and only the power cord will dangle, the rest will be connected to receiver and beamed to TV. I’m in a market for a TV as well and follow the CES very closely for all the new tech gear
check out cnet.com
and alsohttp://www.sony.com/ces/index.html?XID=O…
thats sony’s site for the CES (CONSUMER ELECTRONIC SHOW) which starts tomorrow and lasts the whole week
check out Lg as well nice tvshttp://www.ces-show.com/0088/lg/cameraph…
also note after this show and the new products roll out in the spring and fall there will be big price drops on old stock, so the tv you want for 3000 might go to 2000. just be patient and browse the next for price drops
You should buy the Panasonic Viera Plasma TV as they are worth buying. It is also HD and will not disappoint you a little bit. That TV will cater for all your needs.
