At The 46-50 Inch Range, Why Would Anyone Pick A Lcd Hdtv Over Plasma?

The plasma is cheaper (from a quick Amazon search) and from what I’ve read the plasma has a better picture quality. I can understand at 60 inch range; the LCD’s seem cheaper.

  1. Maybe they intend to mount it on a wall and maybe the room they put it in has allot of ambient light. both LCD and Plasma have different advantages and disadvantages.

  2. At 60 inches the LCD’s are cheaper? I don’t think so…
    I personally would take a plasma over an LCD for just about anything 42 inches and up.

  3. Well the TV shows they watch or the games they play may BURN the plasma phosphor ; and they don’t want that now, do they?
    Just like you don’t want an LCD…..
